What We Buy

At Playmakers, we buy many types of cards and sports memorabilia! Whether it’s a few single cards or full collections, we would love to take a look at what you have. We don’t buy everything, but we can give you a good idea of what you can do with your collectibles if we aren’t interested.

 

Our buy prices are largely driven by condition and current market value. We often look at comparable sales for single cards. For larger collections, we typically like to have you make an appointment if you are not comfortable with leaving the collection with us for a few days. We want to make you a fair offer, and that usually means we want to spend enough time looking through your items.

Pokémon

We buy all Pokémon cards, whether it’s modern, vintage, bulk, or graded cards. We have different buy prices for cash or store credit. At Playmakers, your store credit typically goes further than other stores, as our sealed product pricing is typically the lowest in the area!

 

Magic: the Gathering

We love looking through Magic collections and are happy to buy your Magic: the Gathering singles and sealed boxes. Bring in your singles or whole collection today and we will make you an offer!

 

Sports Cards

We regularly have customers drop off entire sports card collections. We buy sports cards from all eras. Most often, we are looking for sports cards valued $10 and higher.

 

We rarely buy sports cards from the late 80’s and early 90’s. There are some notable exceptions. If you want to bring your collection from this era in, we are still happy to take a look. If we aren’t interested, we can share some advice of approximate value, what would be valuable to look for, and what you can do to find someone that would be interested.

 

Memorabilia

At Playmakers, we usually look for certified autographs on memorabilia. We only sell memorabilia that has a Certificate of Authenticity, or Guaranteed To Pass authentication items. If you aren’t sure what you have, feel free to bring it in to us so we can take a look!
